We received the 2009 Salvation Army Bellringing Award.
225 combined: the number of teachers, school board members, students, and family members that attend the yearly NHS banquet and induction ceremony.
John Griffiths Chapter (est. 1962) Membership based on the four ideals of : Scholarship, Service, Leadership, Character.
Students are inducted during their Sophmore year of high school.
To be considered eligible students must meet the following requirements: A scholarship average of 90 with no grade lower than a 72; those whos can rise in scholarship to or above standard; and must exemplify more than one of the four ideals.
Once inducted the members must maintain their standards on which they were based upon, if not they will be sent a warning letter then are considered for dismissal from NHS.
